Located in northern New Jersey, Essex County Airport, known more commonly as Caldwell Airport, is a towered Class D field with crossing runways. KCDW is located just west of busy Teterboro, under the 3,000 ft shelf of the NY Class-B. It is about 20 miles from NYC and is served by good public transportation and multiple highways.
Caldwell provides pilots with two asphalt runways—4552×80 and 3719×75 with GPS and LOC approaches. Our FBO, AirBound is open 6am-11pm daily, and provides fuel service, preheat, over-night hangars, and provides a pleasant environment in which to meet your passengers.
